Women's frontal pieces and fringes
The human hair forehead piece is a thin strip that rebuilds the front hairline. It comes in six widths, from 1.5 cm to 3.5 cm (all 16 cm long), in 6" or 11.8" hair length, and in off black, brown, platinum blonde or salt and pepper; other colours can be made to order. It attaches with double-sided tape and the base can be trimmed to fit. For volume at the front without tape, the clip-in fringe (4" x 2.5") adds bangs with three small clips.
Men's hairline patches
For a receding hairline in men, choose a lace patch for the most natural front edge or a thin-skin piece for easier cleaning and bonding. Sizes run from a narrow 2.5 x 16 cm strip to 7 x 18 cm for deeper recession. If the bald area extends past the temples or onto the top, compare hair patches or a full men's hair system.
Afro hairlines
Afro hairline pieces use curl patterns such as a 4 mm wave or kinky curl so the front blends with natural hair. See all afro hair systems for larger coverage.
How to choose
- Width and depth: measure from where your hair is still full to where the new hairline should sit, and from temple to temple along the hairline.
- Base: lace gives the most natural front; a thin-skin (PU) edge is easier to tape and clean.
- Colour: match your own hair in daylight, or send us a photo or hair sample. See the colour guide.
- No stock size fits? A custom hairline piece is made to your measurements, shape and colour.
Frequently asked questions
How do I attach a frontal hairpiece?
Most are worn with double-sided hair system tape along the hairline; the clip-in fringe uses clips. See our tapes and adhesives.
Can I cut the piece to fit?
Yes. Trim the base to your hairline shape and have the hair cut and blended by your stylist. Cut or altered pieces cannot be returned.
Do frontal pieces work for women and men?
Yes. The women's pieces are designed for a forehead or parting hairline and fringe; the men's patches are cut for a receding hairline at the temples and front.
